However, he didn't want to be like the 95% of people who aren't successful in Network Marketing, so he developed this amazing system. Now X-1, LLC has groups in over 34 countries where Sherman travels 350,000 miles a year teaching Sherman ’s foolproof system to build six and seven figure incomes. Susan Holden Art Show

Susan Holden paints light. Having lived and worked in Central Coast California for most her adult life, her paintings are a homage to the ethereal harmony of light and form found here and how it reflects Spirit.

Working in acrylics for over 20 years, she uses a glazing technique popularized by Maxfield Parrish. A laborious process, it involves countless layers of transparent color.  She credits the success of the effect of her technique to studying under world-renowned fantasy artist, James Christensen, who widened her eyes to the possibilities it offered.  Susan has also studied at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, and at the Scottsdale Artists School in Arizona.

Holden heavily textures her canvases with various mediums to achieve a grainy, tactile surface that adds to their depth and presence. Her palette explores traditional colors found in American western landscapes raising the genre to a new level of sophistication. Whether a commercial space or residential, her abstracts make any space larger while imparting a sense of calm.

Holden has won many Central Coast, California awards as well as being published in the book "Creativism" by Harry Palmer. Her work hangs in the Shriner’s Childrens Hospital in Los Angeles, the Hall Houston Oil Company in Texas, and in numerous collections throughout the country. Her work has been carried by galleries in Washington, Oregon, California and Colorado.
